WGM Engineering is an OLEV approved Electrical Vehicle installer and are significant contributors to the implementation of the EV Charging infrastructure in Scotland. The aforementioned work is contributing towards the prescribed step change that is underway in relation to transport in Scotland, which is required to meet agreed emission targets in this area over the coming decade.

WGM is excelling in delivering efficient single charger installs through to multi-site intelligent installations communicating through ‘Charge point Scotland’ or a private operated web-based equivalent. WGM will complete your electrical installation from design through to commissioning. This will deliver the required electrical certification, confirming your specific electrical distribution network is compliant with the most up to date edition of BS 7671 wiring regulations.

RSE EV Charging

RSE is a trusted and certified installer of Myenergi Electric Vehicle Domestic Charge Points, including the Zappi Point, a smart EV charger that can operate utilising 100% green energy generated from renewable sources such as solar or wind power. RSE are also registered installers of Rolec EV charge points which can be fitted for domestic, commercial and industrial use.

To further develop our EV Installation capabilities we have most recently become approved installers of multiple types of charge points including AndersenEV A2 EV charge points, Hypervolt and Ohme chargers. The A2 EV charger is compatible with all Type 2 electric and hybrid vehicles, whilst also suitable for PV systems, allowing for free charges using renewable energy generated from solar power. The modular charging unit allows for neat storage and can be mounted either internally or externally by RSE installers.

All RSE EV charge point installers are qualified to City and Guilds 2919 and trained to install EV charge points from 7kW up to 350kW. The installation of our charge point facilities allows for shared use between RSE and our clients; enabling operators and site visitors to top up the charge on their own electric vehicles.

We are NICEIC approved, ensuring all installations are carried out to the latest standards of BS7671:2018. All EV charge point installations, when installed under the WCS and EVHS, carry a 3-year parts and installation warranty.
